Phantom Ranch, Grand Canyon

Phantom Ranch is at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and as such it enjoys a very unusual climate. Lots of heat and some protection. The iron in the rocks gives this deep red/rust coloration and the shrubbery and trees can seem unnaturally bright against the drabness of the more typical desert flora.
